No — today is an ordinary Saturday; the last German public holiday, German Unity Day, was 21 days ago.
Why
- Saturday, 24 October 2026: weekend, no holiday
- Last holiday: German Unity Day, 3 October 2026
- Next: Reformation Day 31 Oct, not in Hesse
