Was October 22, 2026 a good day for a meteor shower in Columbus?
KINDA
Kinda — it's the Orionids' peak morning with clear skies, but an 87% moon washes out all but the brightest.
Why
- Orionids peak overnight Oct 21-22 at 10-20 meteors/hour
- Moon 87% illuminated, washing out faint meteors
- Columbus sky clear now, 18% cloud, 42°F
