Was today a good day to update your software?
Checking
NO
No — it's 4am and the coin says no; update after breakfast, not before.
Why
- Coin flip: NO (a matter of taste, decided)
- Local time 04:10 — peak hours to break things silently
- Oct 26, 2012: Windows 8 shipped; cautionary precedent
