Was October 27, 2026 an important vote?
YES
Yes — Israelis voted today in a Knesset election widely called one of the most contentious in its recent history.
Why
- Israel's 2026 Knesset election was held on October 27, the latest date legally allowed.
- It is the first Israeli election since the October 7 attack and the Israel-Hamas war.
- AP exit polls reported no clear winner, with Netanyahu's fate uncertain.
