Was October 28, 2026 Federalist Papers Day?
NO
No — the Federalist Papers' first essay ran October 27, 1787, so today is a day late.
Why
- The first Federalist essay appeared October 27, 1787, in the Independent Journal.
- That date is marked as National Civics Day, not a Federalist Papers Day.
- Today, October 28, 2026, has no Federalist observance in the holiday listings.
