Was today nuclear winter?
NO
No — nuclear winter is a hypothetical climate collapse after large-scale nuclear war, and today isn't one.
Why
- Nuclear winter is a theoretical scenario, not a weather event.
- It would require large nuclear exchanges spewing soot into the stratosphere.
- Today's Hillsboro weather is ordinary by comparison.
