Was October 28, 2026 special in ENG, United Kingdom?
NO
No — it's an ordinary Wednesday with no UK bank holiday, just a quiet saints' feast day.
Why
- No UK bank holiday falls today; the previous one was August 31.
- Next UK bank holiday is Saint Andrew's Day on November 30, in Scotland only.
- Religious calendars mark Saints Simon and Jude today, as well as the Lord of Miracles feast in Lima.
