Was October 26, 2026 the anniversary of Windows XP?
NO
No — Windows XP shipped on October 25, 2001, so its anniversary was yesterday, its 25th.
Why
- Windows XP reached general availability on October 25, 2001
- That makes yesterday the 25th anniversary
- RTM build shipped August 24, 2001 — also not today
