Was today the day vinyl died?
NO
No — vinyl has not died, and today is not the day it did.
Why
- Vinyl records have outsold CDs in recent US years, per industry reports
- Vinyl sales have grown for well over a decade
- Vinyl is still being pressed, sold, and spun today
