Was October 28, 2026 the fall of the Soviet Union?
NO
No — the Soviet Union dissolved on December 26, 1991, not on October 28.
Why
- The USSR formally dissolved on December 26, 1991.
- Today is 59 days before the anniversary of that dissolution.
- No major Soviet collapse event is recorded for October 28 in history.
