Was today the war in ukraine over?
Checking
NO
No — the war grinds on; Russia and Ukraine agreed only to a local humanitarian truce at Oleshky.
Why
- Oleshky ceasefire covers one front-line town, not the whole war
- Trilateral peace talks scheduled for Abu Dhabi in early November
- Kremlin called the new US peace framework short on substance
